Caribou follows through on last month's two-tracker single with a new remix EP for the track ‘Broke My Heart’. Out on Berlin’s City Slang imprint, with whom Caribou has had a longstanding relationship, this package takes the zippy, almost hyperpop-lite fizz of its sample material in two intersecting directions. Champion pitches that instantly catchy vocal chop down a few octaves to fit snugly around the walloping bass of speed garage take, while Harry Hayes keeps things in the high register as he two steps his way to the finish, as well.
