Axel Willner - The Field - is back with his fourth album on Kompakt. 'Cupid's Head' is the first of his work composed entirely from hardware, something which shows in that little bit more grit between the beats on opener 'They Won't See Me'. Otherwise, his music is just as blissful and light as air as it always has been, driving melodies bathed in glossy, ambient sheen flicker past, making you feel like you're walking through clouds. A welcome return that shows Willner still at the top of his game.
