12k founder and polymath Taylor Deupree teams up piano-playing activist Ryuichi Sakamoto for this five-track EP. Minimal but atmospheric, tracks like ‘Ghost Road’ take delicate drum programming and add flickers of melody, some spartan chords tinkled out by Sakamoto, while ‘Curl To Me’ is more cohesive, mixing in pads and waves of warm, enveloping bass. Just the thing to take with you into the flotation tank.
