Austrian producer Claro Moto returns with a second album of minimal but groovy house for French label InFine. On the surface her 4/4 beats might seems like an unusual choice for their roster but it’s a suitably elfin EP: melody-infused warehouse on ‘Shade’; snapping drums, clattering pans and Moto’s vocodered voice on ‘Disposable Darling’. The peak is a cover of Chris Isaak’s ‘Wicked Game’ that sprays the original with 8-bit and female German accents.
