The WeMe label continue their excavation of the legend Ceephax Acid Crew’s deep discography with this reissue of his 2003 LP Exidy Tours. Issued previously on Firstcask Records, Exidy Tours works as a neat survey of the Essex man’s eclectic tastes, folding in his patented acid and drum and bass motifs alongside detours into drifting ambient and downtempo electronica. Tracks like the ambient-leaning ‘Nordic House’ and the mindfully retro-futuristic ‘Camelot Jostle’ add some delightfully impish humour to this rock solid collection of dance.
