Theo Parrish launches a new imprint reserved exclusively for his beloved edits of rare funk, soul, and disco cuts with the first entry in a series of 12” singles called the Lovely Edits. Longtime dancefloor secret weapons for one of Detroit’s favourite sons, most of these gems have remained under lock and key aside from a spate of release in the early 2000’s. Vol. 1 sees Parrish take on the simmering soul of B.T. Express’ ‘Peace Pipe’ and George Duke’s disco groover ‘I want you for myself’.
