Focux is a compilation of material from pioneering minimal / glitch musician and 12K label head Taylor Deupree. Drawing from three 2000 – 2001 singles, in addition to bonus tracks, the collection showcases stripped, organic, beat-driven music that retains its soul despite being strictly minimal. The simplistic ‘3.8’ consists of very few elements yet it is easy to become lost in the piece that effortlessly flows. Highly recommend for fans of Monolake, Mark Fell / SND and Alva Noto.
