Cameron Stallones AKA Sun Araw partners with Sun Ark Records yet again for The Inner Treaty following the abstract experimentation of 2011 LP Ancient Romans. Moving out of the darkness of previous LPs such as On Patrol, Inner Treaty infuses elements of dub and celestial jazz into his already, heavily psychedelic aura. Eastern flavours are found on the glowing ‘Grip’, which shimmers and shines through bubbling electronics and otherworldly strings. Harder is ‘The Summum’, bringing in an untamed guitar solo to add to the clunky percussion.
