Genres
Austrian electropoppers Rupert Huber and Richard Dorfmeister first got together in 1994, and have made mellow, colourful beats almost annually ever since. After the mixed response to this year’s ‘Odeon’ LP and its more worldly/indie direction the pair have allowed others to remix it, with Brendan Moeller slowing ‘Bonjour’ down into bleak, thudding techno, ‘Jayjay’ given a scissoring Daft Punk-like overhaul by Stefane Lefrancois and Silver City turning ‘Johnny Waters’ into laser disco bliss.
