Moritz and his Trio return in emphatic fashion on Honest Jons for another slice of transfixing, freeform dub improvisation. Operating in a more stripped fashion than previous output “Blue” carves out a deep groove from the perfectly mixed elements that have been put to work. It’s a transcendental piece that is total absorbing, dissolving the listener’s interpretation of duration. Moritz also mixes down a dub interpretation, distilling the track to the barebones for ultimate impact – sublime.
