Following his mammoth 4LP collection Segue To Infinity, Laraaji provides us with a condensed version of Glimpses from his Celestial Vibration era in 1978. Plucks and strums teeter and twang in these ethereal monsoons of ambience, with shimmering arrangements of zither, koto, kalimba, and flute. The pitter patter of kalimba plucks undergo timbral metamorphosis, with spectral edits purring and bubbling like marine life on ‘Ocean’, while ‘All Pervading’ displays physical and emotional dexterity as Laraaji flies through notes and colours.
