Following their triumphant return in 2015 (with the sparsely beautiful , Instrumentals 2015), Domino do the righteous thing and press up long-deleted early albums from Flying Saucer Attack. Further is the second studio album by the Bristol band, it was first released through Drag City on April 17, 1995. It was the album that broke them through the other side – sonically, commercially. The roots are folk (think John Fahey, Davey Graham, Shirley Collins, Bert Jansch) but processed through 90s guitar pedal FX and a shoegaze haze of reverb and fuzz and feedback. Hiss soaked, highly influential majesty that still sounds great twenty years on.
