Nicolas Jaar’s Clown & Sunset imprint springs back into action with the second instalment in the ‘Sunset of a Clown’ series. After meeting in the Sonora desert while on field trips - Jaar, Nikita Quasim and Soul Keita bonded over a mutual interest in music. Jaar’s offering comes as a sensual, night-time piano jam – complete with delirious vocal sampling while Quasim squeezes squelchy percussion over experimental piano keys, and Keita’s ‘Monjitas’ is a nicely slow-grooving jam.
