Jaar/Keita/Quasim hooked up with film producer Noah Kraft to set up Clown & Sunset, distributing cutting edge world electronics since 2004. This re-release of their 2009 compilation collects a gem from each of the three founders: Chilean techno on Jaar’s ‘John the Revelator’, Quasim’s ‘L’amour l’apres-midi’ and its eerie piano landscapes, and brooding, cool low-end on Keita’s ‘Jude Nelson is a Bassist’.
