Terms like ‘raw’, ‘analogue’ tend to get thrown around for many tracks within electronic music rendering it difficult to separate cheap from the real deal. Hauff’s ‘Actio Reactio’ most definitely falls in the latter category. Her DJ sets at Hamburg’s Golden Pudel are earning her a reputation for her potent blend of EBM, electro and acid house; it’s easy to see how these influences feed into her Werkdisc debut. 'Actio Reactio' is a extended heady array of frantic Chicago-leaning percussion, bass and claps whilst 'Break Force' threads a tormented acid vein through a serrated 4/4 kick. A deadly dance floor weapon – one to watch.
