Another remaster of the Nashville outsider’s impressive canon, this time with sixth 12”, 1986’s ‘Glad Music’. Once again, the recordings have been cleaned up like they’re due on a military parade, with "Don’t Let Me Go To The Dog" and its euphoric pianos now with clearly identifiable squealing vocals, and "I Wouldn’t Mind Dyin" offering a fresh take on a cappella with its pitch-black lyrics that diss the Almighty. Like Moore himself, these songs sound as feisty and anti-establishment as they did during the Reagan administration.
