Another nugget from electronic producer René Pawlowitz, here taking a break from his Shed alias to become retro rave superstar WK7. This is the 2012 12” repress of his much demanded techno juggernaut ‘The Avalanche’: seven minutes of springy 4/4 beats, rave horns, ferocious house bass and the kind of demented energy you only normally experience if you’re sealed in a club for seven hours. On the flip is the lighter and more melodic ‘Higher Power’ which comes with a dreamy Hardcore PCK mix. A perfect three-track trip from the club floor to the couch.
