African producer H-SIK follows up his energetic ‘Cocody’ LP with more multifaceted madness in the form of a two track 12” on Bristol’s Black Acre records. First up, the sample-laden ‘Sonic rage’ displays SIK’s wide array of influences covering African, grime and jungle. ‘No promises’ on the flip goes for a more atmospheric approach, demonstrating some crafty drum programming.
