Born out of Karen Gwyer's 'Needs Continuum', Torn Hawk sculpted, destroyed and rebirthed what is now known as, 'Cowboys (For Karen)' creating a decaying, transient, eerily narrative piece of music. “Gauze (Spread)” is a trance driven, percussion and synth heavy dissonant dialouge begging for release. “Cowboys” features explosions of electric guitar, a hauntingly gorgeous sound in the harsh environment Hawk has created. “Oak and Sludge” is born out of whispered echoed beats and dribbling guitar outbursts. Slow down and sink into this psyche-sedating mashup.
