Having previously only been available on a Japanese promo CD, Still My World resurfaces for Record Store Day 2024. Andrew Weatherall and Keith Tenniswood were approached by Italian fashion house Emigliano Zegna in 2003 to soundtrack their Japanese debut, and Two Lone Swordsmen responded with a bubbling concoction of popping ambience, jazzy downtempo rhythms, and drilling percussive details. The bitcrushed explosions of ‘Don’t Remember Leaving’ give way to glitching drumrolls and distorted acid dub bass stepping with swagger, while alarms blare in the background. The title track is a total contrast, with lush vibes and slow sweeping synths evoking outer space lounge music.
