London’s Sonic Router are back with more mutated, dance floor experimentalism, this time from producer Chris Sallows who has already released on Svetlana Industries and Cleaning Tapes under the name Microbust. It’s a record of quiet deconstruction. The beats are ragged and spacious, shuffling peculiarly with nods to drone and fractious noise. The result is a strangely hypnotic record of decaying club sounds.
