The next release from the always excellent Awesome Tapes From Africa comes from Ethiopian one man band Hailu Mergia. This particular release is of his 1985 recording, where he experimented by mixing traditional Ethiopian sounds with analogue synthesizers and electric piano, making for a surprising and fresh blend.
