US based Ghosts On Tape drops four cuts of thumping, muscular house music, including an impressive rework by Arttu. Opener “No Guestlist” is percussive, taking influence from Chicago’s basements and New York’s discos, all revolving around a classic Lil’ Louis sample. The “Underground Mix” goes for the jugular, working the track into a frenzy with building synths and a driving, bottomless kick. Arttu lets off the gas for an eased, stepping melodic take. Solid EP.
