Thom York’s Atoms for Peace project continues to gather pace with the release of a limited edition 12’’ entitled ‘Before Your Very Eyes…’. York’s desires to push the boundaries of popular music are ever present with a stark combination of IDM, experimentation and indie rock transfixing the listener. Over on flip, the highly anticipated “Magic Beanz” has been causing a stir since debuting on French radio station Nova Club. It’s easy to see why, with stirring synths layered over delicate drum processing, resulting in a mystic piece of electronic exploration.
