Crate-diggers Astro:Dynamics throw us a curve-ball with this debut from someone who’s very much alive, but nevertheless fits in with their thudding antique atmosphere. Naples analogue producer Davide Salvati serves up fuzzy but barren synthpunk, with ‘Overcast’ swirling like The Orb played on a Dictaphone, and ‘No More Dreams’ channeling Cut Copy through obsolete ‘80s keyboards. An intriguing debut LP that blends perfectly into the Astro:Dynamics’ universe.
