Braille returns to Hotflush for his long-awaited sophomore solo LP Triple Transit. Inspired by a move back to New York as well as the dissolution (at least for now) of Sepalcure, the album finds Braille in a particularly nostalgic mood, revisiting the music of his youth in search of some balance amidst the turnover. Built up almost entirely from modular synths and machines, classic Detroit and Chicago house sounds rub shoulders with his singular blend of bass and bleeps, while stretches of placid ambience keep things moving between the margins.
