This first single from Bonobo’s new LP ‘The North Borders’ sees Simon Green bring in Grey Reverend on vocals, the two working together so smoothly it’s like they’ve always been a double-act. On the title track, sleek, pitch-shifted soul spits and sputters while the Rev moans around gorgeous string arrangements. It’s backed by ‘Heaven for the Sinner’ where Erykah takes the mic over breezy 8-bit chords and luscious harps. Instrumentals on the flip.
