Kowton and Bashmore are two Bristol producers who have come at house in very different ways over the last couple of years. Kowton's approach is rough edged, nodding to grime and dusty, hard-jacking techno. Bashmore meanwhile crafts slick, stadium filing anthems. For this new EP the two find a happy balance between the two styles. The title track twists along on tough, fizzing percussion but is also catchy in a twitchy sort of way, a strong vocal hook lending it a big room quality. "And What?" is heavier and weirder; machine gun drums rattling and thick slabs of bass. A strong collaboration from Bristol's finest.
