In 2011, Bristol electro producer David Corney interrupted his run of split 12”s to put out ‘Broadcast’, a sleek and spartan LP of luscious synths, industrial landscapes. ‘Modern Worship’ continues the story in more colour: breathless vocals and a fuzzy analogue melody on ‘The City Is Ours’; warm, syncopated synthpop on ‘1000 Lights’; glass chimes to a corrupted jungle beat on ‘Lake Rider’.
