Dr. Pit of Primitive Art lands on Relaxin Records with a hazed out version of Lolina’s ‘Music Is The Drug’. Chopped up vocals, street sirens, and percussive glimpses take the original track’s jaunty keys and slinky shuffles, swap them out for spiralling marimba and glistening chimes, and swerve into a shimmering hypnagogic post-club world. The instrumental ‘Vista Mare’ version reveals even more of the track’s floating, glassy atmosphere and mutant synths.
