More madcap techno from London producer J. Tijn, carrying on from last year’s Convex Industries podcast and the ‘Jack 2’ 12”, also on Untold’s Pennyroyal label. A mix of elastic 4/4 beats, thunderous white noise and relentless snares, the title track is techno stripped of any niceties. The malice continues on the B-side, where ‘I.P.S.’ attacks with squelch bass and drums like chains, and ‘Bruise 2’ adds sci-fi noises to a rhythm like a climaxing washing machine.
