Pictures Music present Olugbenga’s debut release, ‘Hafiza (Innocence)’. Otherwise known as the bassist from Metronomy, Olugbenga Adelekan showcases three tracks of unique detail and texture. What originally seem like vocal samples turn out to actually be Olugbenga’s own recordings pitched and edited in ways that span forlorn choruses to percussive melodies. Synthesizers and huge bottom ends back up all three, taking them from the home, to the club.
