Brought together under the newly inaugurated ‘Testpressing’ banner are two extended new productions from Demdike Stare. Crafted with the same brutal deviance of previous works, the first edition still manages to surpass our expectations with searing noise and unforgiving purpose. ‘Collision’ is an intense, high-frequency confrontation between jungle and noise, whilst ‘Misappropriation’ is a precariously balanced, unsettling piece of dread and mangled percussion.
