London house producer Dave Taylor and Philadelphia’s Thomas Wesley Pentz caused a storm on 2009’s ‘Guns Don’t Kill People, Lazers Do’, a bombastic electro-rap assault course. Now Pentz is back alone and raising enough hell to suggest he’s developed multiple personality disorder. Lead track ‘Get Free’ wraps slow reggae synths around a vocal turn from Amber of Dirty Projectors, while ‘No Partial’ lets Flux Pavilion chant over a colossal dubstep drop like Skrillex gone rabid. Who needs partnership when you can dart about like this?
