With studio owner Conlet Abrams’ local funk band, Soular Flight on board, the funk-heavy recordings move into new dimensions - Soular Flight’s disco tendencies and Ristagno’s angst-ridden vocal delivery seemingly foreseeing the likes of Arto Lindsay’s no wave band DNA and various other contemporaries.
