Grime’s irrefutable godfather returns with his ninth full-length album, ‘The Ascent’, a typically eccentric take on Wiley’s current pop-crossover grime brand. Wiley maintains all his idiosyncratic grit and edge, but the numerous guest contributions help take the album to an altogether different place.
