Anthony Naples’ Proibito label launches into what sounds like a cloud of cosmic dust with the ‘R.E.G.A.L.I.E.R. EP’. Royal Crown of Sweden is the alias of the Kansas City-based Huerco S., previously seen on the likes of Opal Tapes and Wicked Bass. With his latest he scrubs down his analogue hardware, draping decaying samples over rough and raw percussion and some disco-luxe atmosphere. An absolutely spot-on diamond in the rough.
