Night Slugs head honcho James Connolly keeps upping his game as L-vis 1990, with this three-track EP building nicely on his 2011 full-length ‘Neon Dreams’. The crisp electronica is even tighter, with the title track moving through scraping keyboards into staggered, voodoo-infected dubstep, counterbalanced on the flipside by the woozy acid beats of ‘Signal’ and the repeating lasers of ‘Not Mad’. Another winner in the Night Slugs’ run of golden eggs.
