Shabu Recordings inaugurate their new series SHAVA (which stands for SHA Various Artists), which is, quite simply, a compilation of exciting demos – 5 tracks from different artists. On their first smorgasbord of electronic treats, Avus gets the ball rolling with zig-zagging acid lines, then we move through to the hip hop/break influenced ‘Scum’ by Niccoló Bianchi, and to top it all off, a seriously gorgeous slowfast ambient track from Vaghe Stelle.
