Kompakt announce the reissue of Justus Köhncke’s 2004 staple ‘Timecode’ – a mythical dance floorer, injecting energy into the classic with three fresh new remixes. First off, Tyree Cooper hands in a classy, bubbling house rework, and coming in second Axel Bowman works his magic, rebranding it as a snare-heavy, searing gem. Set alongside the eight minute original, it might be hard to see why it needs updating; but these reworks are very welcome.
