Montreal duo Grown Folk reveal their latest record to appear on the Icee Hot imprint, with customary excess and colour. Title track, ‘The Boat’, is a trance-like ballad made up of a gloopy low-end and silky dance floor energy, whilst ‘Keep Few Near’ works the same kind of model with more of a playful take. Remixes come from Clone’s Gerd with a more straight-up house reworking of the title track and an effort from Ghost on Tape.
