Robert Hampson reactivates his much-appreciated Main project for Editions Mego. Originally established in the 1990s, Main refined an affection for abstract guitar treatments with a prolific run of albums and singles right up until 2006. For his 2013 reincarnation, Hampson teams up with Stephan Mathieu to create ‘Ablation’, an obscure rhythmic palette peppered with layered concrete sounds and Mathieu’s extra tonal colours.
