Bristol via London duo Emptyset put out an EP on Subtext Recordings comprised of installation recordings. Conceived in London’s Ambika P3 bunker, a North Wales nuclear power plant, and a mine in Kent, the tracks ‘explore the relationship between space and the fundamental properties of sound, applying extreme bass, noise and feedback.’ Harsh, abrasive soundscapes interspersed with periods of silence that make for an esoteric, exploratory offering.
