London enigma Moiré has had insomnia, and has turned it into this colourful first EP for Werkdiscs / Ninja Tune. Lead track ‘Lose It’ is a joint venture with Lessons and Heidi Vogel, the latter adding blissed-out vocals to a pounding migraine of a bass beat. ‘Drugs’ takes said beat and turns it into a flashy, persistent throb, while the experimental ‘Into’ blends snares and house synths and then blows them out slowly into the cosmos.
