Boris Bunnik’s latest EP for Delsin takes his techno sound to dark places, suggesting that things in Holland are bleaker than portrayed in Deuce Bigalow: European Gigalow. Focusing on intricate, clicking percussion and fat droplets of bass, ‘Time Dilation’ thuds and hisses, and shows that when the Dutch do dub they do it as poker-faced as the rest of us (though still with Bunnik’s occasional flair for cartoon excesses).
