For their third instalment of this Diamond Version series, Carsten Nicolai (Alva Noto) and Olaf Bender (Byetone) deliver three pieces of pristine electronic constructions. "Turn On Tomorrow" continues on with their crystalline drum programming, with pulsing and punching syncopated drums pushing the track forward, constructed over the screens on distortion undulating in the background. The "Sense of Urgency' has a more austere electro feel, with a similar palette as before, but executed with such high precision it angles itself more towards the dancefloor. The "Version" of "Turn on Tomorrow" is then deconstructed in to its individual parts and reconstructed it to a ghetto-techno booty bass killer, that illustrates how these two musicians are using this project to simultaneously slay the club as well as our eardrums.
