Solange, or better known as Beyonce's baby sister has taken a while to establish herself within the indie circles, but after her excellent cover of 'Stillness is the Move' by the Dirty Projectors, and the guilty pleasure pop hit 'Loosing You', her seven track EP 'True' shows the listener what she is worth. Released on Grizzly Bear's Chris Taylor's Terrible Records, and produced by Dev Hynes aka Blood Orange, it showcases a strong musical partnership between her and Hynes, where her R&B vocals simmer and stir alongside his bubbling production, giving the listener a fresh and glistening perspective of where pop music can go.
