Jack Dice is the new project of Type label owner John Twells and Walker Chambliss the manager and tour DJ for Main Attraktionz, a collaboration that for some wouldn't immediately spring to mind. However, looking at the recent history of Type which released Clams Casino and Main Attraktionz, you can see Twells interest in the experiments of modern hip hop, and see how this project with Walker could have come about. With 4 pieces of stripped back southern rap instrumentals, the tracks are as much aimed for the experimental world as as they are for the dance floor, creating an EP that is as much of an interesting project for the mentioned artists, as it is for the label Modern Love.
