Yo La Tengo, a band who have been working together for the last three decades, who have released thirteen studio albums and played countless shows, consistently been at the forefront of the lo-fi indie aesthetic, now in 2013 after choosing to work with producer John McEntire of Tortoise and Sea and Cake fame, present us with what could be their most perfect album to date. 'Fade' is a record the balances the idea of exploration and introspection, it is both colourful and vibrant whilst being subtle and reassuring, it is a series of songs that encourages you to relax and get comfortable while in turn inviting you to get lost in their world.
