Dave Monolith puts on his MNLTH disguise for four tracks of jacking acid breakdowns for the Belgian imprint WeMe Records. On the A-side ‘Ages Sound’ is a softly whirring slice of excellence, whilst ‘Amsterdam’ goes for some seriously luxurious Detroit synths and gliding emotion. On the flipside ‘Ooh Rahzel’ is a jacking slice of classic Chicago with just the right hint of rave, whilst ‘Hug 2’ takes Monolith back to his Rephlex home with kinetic funk. Seriously recommended.
